Simucube Shaft Extension Kit for Simucube 3

Move the Wheel Closer, Drop the Monitor Lower

The Simucube Shaft Extension Kit pushes the steering wheel further out from a Simucube 3 wheelbase. So the base sits back under your dash while the wheel comes to you.

That one change solves two problems. Because the base no longer sits in the way, you can position a monitor lower and closer to eye level. In addition, the wheel ends up where a real steering column would put it.

Two Lengths in One Kit

The kit includes both a 100 mm and a 200 mm shaft. Therefore you can try one, then swap to the other if the reach is not right.

Matching extension cables for each length are in the box as well. As a result, there is nothing else to order once you decide.

Wireless Still Works

Simucube 3 carries power and data wirelessly across the quick release. However, extending the shaft does not interrupt that.

So you keep cable-free wheel swaps at the new distance, which is the main reason to use Simucube's own kit rather than a generic extension.

One Important Limit

Do not stack the two shafts to get 300 mm. Because extending the steering axle past 200 mm puts load the base is not designed for, it may damage your wheelbase.

Use one shaft at a time. The 200 mm option is the maximum Simucube supports.
