Caster Wheels, Not Steering Wheels
The Sabelt Wheel Kit is a set of four caster wheels for the bottom of your cockpit. So the name is about moving the rig, not about what you hold in your hands.
It fits Sabelt Series P, S and X cockpits. Therefore a rig that used to need two people to shift now rolls where you want it.
Why Put Wheels on a Rig
A sim rig is heavy and awkward, and most of them live in rooms that get used for other things. Because the kit makes the cockpit mobile, you can push it against a wall when you are not racing.
It also helps at setup time. As a result, you can roll the rig out to reach cable runs behind it instead of crawling underneath.
Rated to 40 kg Each
Each of the four casters carries up to 40 kg. So the set supports a loaded cockpit with a seat, wheelbase, pedals and monitors on it.
Heavy-duty casters matter under a direct drive base. In addition, the rolling stays smooth rather than juddering across a hard floor.
Height Adjustment Too
The kit also lets you fine-tune rig height. Therefore you can level the cockpit on an uneven floor, or raise it to suit your seating position.
