Four Actuators, Three Degrees of Freedom
The Moza HMA150 Motion Actuators move the whole cockpit rather than just the wheel. Four actuators drive pitch, roll and heave. So braking dive, weight transfer, curb strikes and rally landings arrive through the seat. As a result, you feel the car instead of only seeing it.
The Numbers, and What They Cost You
Moza publishes performance against payload, which is worth reading closely:
- 150 mm stroke
- 300 mm/s and over 1G at a 250 kg payload
- 150 mm/s and 0.45G at the full 350 kg payload
- Vibration up to 200 Hz
- 8 ms latency, 21-bit magnetic encoder
In other words, a heavier platform moves slower. Therefore keep the rig light if peak figures matter to you.
Quiet, Low Voltage, Safe
A 48 V servo motor drives a precision ball screw in each actuator. Because the voltage is low, it suits home use. Noise stays under 55 dB even at maximum speed and acceleration.
An emergency stop switch is built in. In addition, power-loss protection lowers the platform smoothly if the supply cuts out.
What Your Rig Needs
This is the part to check before ordering. The HMA150 fits 4080, 40120 and 40160 European standard aluminum profiles. However, closed central rail 40120 and 40160 profiles need the separate HMA Profile Adapter Kit. Tube-style cockpits are not supported.
All four actuators mount vertically at the same height, on a level floor. Moza also recommends putting the monitor on a separate stand.
Software and Setup
Moza Motion Manager handles range, intensity, DOF effects and vibration. Meanwhile, AI Motion reads game audio and visuals to generate feedback where no telemetry exists. So titles without motion support still give you something.
RGB lighting on the actuators carries real-time telemetry for ABS, TC and flag signals. PC only.

Moza specifies lubrication through the maintenance port about every six months. That is the whole maintenance routine.

Rig requirements
PC only. Fits 4080, 40120 and 40160 European standard aluminum profiles. Closed central rail 40120 and 40160 profiles require the HMA Profile Adapter Kit, sold separately. Tube-style cockpits are not currently supported. All four actuators must be mounted vertically at the same height on a level floor, and a separate monitor stand is recommended.
