Apex Sim Racing Formula Bundle
- 18Nm direct drive, 21-bit encoder, 20KHz response
- 1:1 hydraulic brake, 200kg load cell, long throttle plate
- 280mm Zeus Formula, MagicDash 4, full SimHub support
The Apex Sim Racing Formula Bundle is an Alpha EVO Pro bundle built for open-wheel and prototype racing. It combines the 18Nm Simagic Alpha EVO Pro wheelbase, the Zeus Formula wheel with MagicDash 4, and the P2000-L200RF hydraulic pedals. The Zeus Formula connects directly to Alpha EVO bases, so no adapter is needed between wheel and base.
Alpha EVO Pro 18Nm wheelbase
The EVO Pro is the 18Nm version of Simagic's Alpha EVO platform. It shares the ultra-low inertia servo motor, zero-cogging tech, and 21-bit encoder with the 9Nm and 12Nm models. Simagic matched its DFDF filter to the new motor, and active cooling holds full torque through long stints. The chassis measures 130 x 110 x 317mm and weighs 8.627kg. Quick release support covers QR50, QR70, and QR-A.
Zeus Formula wheel with MagicDash 4
The Zeus Formula is a 280mm wheel sized to FIA Formula standards. It uses a 5mm solid carbon fiber front plate, a one-piece CNC-machined aluminum back cover, and a three-layer silicone grip over a steel core. The control layout includes:
- 16 customizable RGB buttons
- 4 rotary encoders and 4 thumb encoders
- 2 seven-way multi-position switches
- HALL dual-paddle module, with clutch bite point set in SimPro Manager
The MagicDash 4 attaches magnetically and adds a built-in touchpad plus official dashboard presets. With the dash fitted, the wheel offers up to 92 physical inputs and 91 RGB lighting zones. Every button, LED, and encoder is also fully controllable in SimHub.
P2000-L200RF hydraulic pedals
The P2000-L200RF is the 2-pedal throttle and brake version of the P2000, fitted with the long throttle plate. The brake uses a 1:1 real brake cylinder, with a main pump and an auxiliary pump linked by braided steel lines. A 200kg load cell reads brake pressure, and four brake spring options come in the box. Meanwhile, the throttle uses a 3-in-1 cylinder for adjusting damping, travel, and force, with its own load cell. You set deadzones and output curves in SimPro Manager, and the settings apply across every sim.
Setting up the Alpha EVO Pro bundle
The base bottom mounts out of the box, and optional brackets add side, front, and desk mounting. Keep in mind that the front bracket disables the base's magnetic connectivity, which matters if you plan to mount the MagicDash 4 on the base instead of the wheel. Simagic also recommends its Hotspot module for stable MagicDash 4 communication.
