Great Attention to Detail and Useful.. Plus it just looks cool!

"First off the quality is fantastic, and the attention to detail that's been put into the dash is A1. I'm very picky with my peripherals and this dash checked the boxes for me no problem. Yes, the cost is high for a button box, but I think the cost is justified if you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing and highly customizable, top quality piece to add to your sim rig. I chose to upgrade to the back-lit button option since I play in a low lit room and appreciate being able to see the buttons at quick glance allowing me to make quick decisions during a race whether on track, or in the pits. You can use the dash with the lights off as well. I think skipping this option would be a mistake in my opinion unless you play in a very well lit room and even then i think the lights would be very helpful. Its also a nice option while/if swapping between wheels to bind important/ permanent functions to the dash to allow for quick transition to another wheel that may not have enough buttons, if any."

"First, I can confirm that the power switch cutout does NOT line up with the csl dd PRO. Not a big deal, was going to mill it out a bit but had some 5mm tall standoffs in my parts box that I used to offset the dash from the wheel base. Now the switch is free to be switched! I really dig the panel, perfect size for my rig and plenty of options for assigning in game!! Best part is that windows recognizes it as a standard game controller so it can be used in any game that has assignable controls (think flight sim!!) I may be building a multi-purpose sim rig!!"

All I hoped it would be

"I'm writing this review after having this dash for only a few days. However, this is all I hoped it would be. Part of the challenge buying products for sim racing is that it's primarily done online. You can't touch and feel things before they show up. When dropping $500 on a piece of equipment that can be a little nerve wracking because what if it's a piece of crap? This thing is not that. I was pleasantly surprised/relieved when I opened the packaging to find a very well constructed, sturdy piece of equipment. My biggest concern was that the main flat piece of the dash would be flimsy and wobbly. It's not. It's solid and has very little flex. Installation was super easy. I think it took me longer to get it out of the box than to attach to my CSL DD. Once installed it was plug and play and I was able to begin mapping and using immediately. One major recommendation I would make is to absolutely get the 7 way multi-switch if you are considering buying this. This switch makes it so easy to maneuver through menus while in the car which is particularly useful, for example, when wanting to make tire pressure changes on the fly or other in-car adjustments. Shipping is worth noting, as well, given the supply chain issues we've all experienced in one way or the other. I received my dash within 2 weeks of ordering over the Christmas/New Year holiday season which I found perfectly acceptable. I highly recommend."
