Simagic DS-8X H Pattern & SQ Sim Racing Shifter

"Well, i liked the fast delivery. I like the adjustable tensioner on the shifter. Shifting fro second to third feels natural. I plugged it into the cam bus port on my Simagic alfa (18 nm) and the Simpro magic software picked it up immediately. I calibrated all the gates and the shifter works flawlessly. You can still miss a shift now and again… but that is operator error. It is a great product. It is machined precisely and operate as such. The DA-8X H Pattern & SQ shifter is well worth the money."

"Works perfect. Makes playing beamng iracing or ac so much more enjoyable i dont have to switch wheels to use a sequential. Just flip the switch. I did have issues with the shifter not coming back to center in sequential mode out of the box but after adjusting the tensioner up and down a few times it hasnt given me any problems since then. Only real complaint i could have is it took awhile to get used to where 3rd gear is in the h-pattern. I missed 3 alot and still do sometimes."

Huge upgrade over Moza HPG

"Upgraded to the Simagic DS-8x from the Moza H pattern- it's a bit apples to oranges when you also compare the prices- but this shifter was well worth the money to me. Out of the box it felt much better and was significantly quieter than my old shifter. With the adjustable tension it can be almost silent. The H-pattern and Sq modes register as different buttons in game, so when you flip the switch on the shifter you're ready to drive anything. The pull up lock out for reverse and 7/8 is much easier to use than pushing down into the shifter, like previous shifters I've used. I didn't need to install any firmware or software. The cardboard box my shifter was shipped in arrived damaged with a hole in it. I thought the shifter could have been packed better by Apex to avoid moving around and puncturing the box during transit. The shifter was not damaged and simagic packages it with plenty of foam, so it was not really an issue."
