A Carrier Cockpit Display, Standalone
The Moza AMPCD Display Panel is a standalone carrier-aircraft display module. It uses a true square active display instead of a cropped rectangular screen. The panel itself measures 7.5 inches, but only 7.1 inches stay visible once the bezel is fitted. Resolution is 800 x 800.
Because the real instrument is square, most sim pilots approximate it on a tablet or a rectangular monitor. Here the proportions are correct from the start.
So if the complete FMP18 Panel Bundle is more cockpit than you need, this is where to start.
Snap-On Magnetic Bezel
The control bezel attaches magnetically and connects through pogo pins. As a result, the display and the button surround separate and reattach without tools. Pull the bezel off and the display then runs on its own. So it also works for civil aviation instruments or panel layouts from other airframes.
Mounting the Moza AMPCD Display Panel
The rear carries standard 75 x 75 mm VESA holes for M4 x 10 mm screws. So it drops onto:
- Moza desk clamps and mounting brackets
- Aluminum profile rig mounts
- Third-party VESA desk clamps and wall mounts
- Suspended and overhead installations
Software and Setup
MOZA Cockpit handles button and rotary mapping. While running more than one panel, you can assign this module as left, center, or right. PC only.
The AMPCD also sits alongside the DDI and FPP modules in the FMP18 front panel. So if you build toward the full assembly later, this module still has a place.
