Excellent FFB Base

"Very responsive base that works well with MSFS24 and DCS. The Moza Cockpit software is pretty easy to get up and running, but it offers a good number of settings to customize your base's feel and behavior. Compared to my VKB Gladiator base, I can't notice much of a difference in responsiveness, but I can notice a difference in centering forces. The AB9 seems to "spring back" a bit more softly, but the motors do a great job of keeping the stick centered. The FFB forces are enough to get a feel of the aircraft without feeling like you're arm wrestling someone. If you fly a mix of different aircraft or sims, I think this is a great general-purpose FFB base, especially since it can accept flight sticks from a few other brands. The base is large and heavy, so I'd recommend grabbing either Moza's AB9 table clamp for desk use or their flight base mount adapter for profile cockpits. If you do go for the table clamp, just know that it likely won't sit low enough to use the Z-axis extension comfortably."

Bought this as a Father’s

"Bought this as a Father’s Day gift for the girlfriend’s dad. He was a career Army helicopter pilot and loves to relive his glory days on flight sims. This thing is heavy as can be, but it definitely appears to be well made. This coupled with the Moza MH-16 flight stick it is an absolute beast of a setup. Regarding the software, it’s great when it actually works. I think there is a long road ahead surrounding compatibility. MSFS worked sometimes. It seems you need to restart software any time you change planes. MSFS24 was basically not compatible as of June 2025. If DCS is your thing, this will absolutely change the game. The integrated FFB support works flawlessly with this stick. I hope either Moza or MSFS developers can sort out the bugs when using with those titles, because this is by far the coolest addition below motion platforms."

Is this compatible with Thrustmaster and Virpil grips?: The MOZA AB9 Base supports certain third-party flight sticks, such as the F-16C Viper HOTAS Add-On Grip, F/A-18C Hornet HOTAS Add-On Grip, Constellation ALPHA, Constellation ALPHA Prime, T-50CM2 Grip, WW18 and WW16EX Metal Joystick.
