Wireless Power and Data Through the Quick Release
The Simucube Link Quick Release mounts wheels with a 70mm hole pattern to a Simucube 3 wheelbase. However, it does more than hold the wheel on.
On Simucube 3, Link carries power and data wirelessly across the connection. So there is no coiled cable running out of the back of your wheel.
Zero Play
A quick release is the one place flex ruins everything else. Because Link clamps with no play, steering input goes straight into the base. Therefore the detail your wheelbase produces reaches your hands intact.
Fits Wheels You Already Own
The 70mm bolt pattern is the sim racing standard. As a result, most third-party rims bolt straight on without an adapter.
Using the Simucube Link Quick Release With Simucube 2 Wheels
This is where it gets specific. Simucube 2 wheels can use Link mechanically, so they will mount and hold fine.
However, wireless power and data transfer does not work with Simucube 2 wheels. Those wheels need the Link Hub for data transfer instead. Check what your wheel expects before ordering.
