Simagic FX Pro User's Guide

The Simagic FX Pro is a high-end formula-style steering wheel designed for competitive sim racing. It combines a genuine carbon fiber construction,  4.3-inch display, and a fully customizable control layout. The wheel connects directly to Simagic’s direct drive ecosystem through the QR50 quick release and is managed with SimPro Manager software. Unboxing and Setup

Inside the box you will find:

• The Simagic FX Pro Formula Steering Wheel.
• The QR50 (pre-installed quick release).
• A USB cable for updates or standalone connection.
• A small toolkit and sticker sheet for button labeling.

Before installing the wheel, make sure your wheelbase is turned off. Then, align the QR50 connectors on both the wheel and the base, then push the wheel in until it clicks. The connection should feel secure. Avoid pressing on the display or rotary encoders while mounting. The USB cable is only required for firmware updates or for using the wheel directly on a PC without a base.

Installing SimPro Manager

SimPro Manager is the control software for all Simagic hardware. You can download the latest version from the official Simagic website. Once installed, open the program and connect your FX Pro through the base or directly via USB. The software should recognize it automatically.

Inside SimPro Manager you can:

• Update the firmware on the wheel and base.
• Customize LED lighting and button colors.
• Map button and rotary functions.
• Calibrate the clutch paddles.
• Select and upload dashboard layouts for the screen.

If the wheel does not appear, try reconnecting it via USB and restarting the program.

Configuring the FX Pro

When the FX Pro is connected, open its device panel in SimPro Manager. Each control can be customized to match your preferences or the specific game you are using.

RGB Lighting

• Each button has an RGB light that can be set to any color or brightness.
• The top rev-light bar can be tuned for shift points and telemetry effects.
• Lighting can be linked to in-game telemetry values such as pit limiter, DRS, or traction control.

Button Mapping

• All buttons, rotaries, and paddles can be remapped to custom inputs.
• You can save different profiles for different racing titles.
• Mappings can be imported or exported between setups.

Dashboard Display

• The 4.3-inch screen supports multiple layouts that display data such as RPM, speed, gear, and temperature.
• Use SimPro Manager to activate or deactivate layouts.
• Switch between dashboards on the wheel in real time.

Clutch Paddle Calibration

• Open the clutch calibration tool in SimPro Manager.
• Press both paddles through their full range of motion.
• You can choose synchronized mode or independent mode.
• Adjust the bite-point ratio to fine-tune your clutch launch behavior.

Testing the Wheel

After the setup, test all inputs to make sure the FX Pro is functioning correctly.

• Use the input checker inside SimPro Manager to confirm that each button and paddle registers.
• Rotate the encoders to verify smooth response.
• Check that the telemetry screen updates properly while a game is running.
  If the telemetry does not display, confirm that the Simagic plugin is installed in your game’s directory.

Updating Firmware and Advanced Settings

Firmware updates are periodically released to improve performance and add features. To update, open SimPro Manager, select your device, and follow the firmware update prompt. Make sure both the base and wheel are on the latest versions.

If the display flickers or delays during gameplay, change the wireless channel frequency in SimPro Manager. Frequencies above 100 MHz are usually more stable.

Maintenance

Keep the FX Pro clean and free of dust for a longer lasting and better-performing wheel!

• Wipe the grips and carbon surfaces with a microfiber cloth and a small amount of isopropyl alcohol.
• Do not spray liquid directly on the wheel.
• Store it in a cool, dry area when not in use.
• Check screws and paddles occasionally to make sure they remain tight.
