Open Box Policy

At Apex Sim Racing, our Open Box products offer customers the opportunity to purchase premium sim racing equipment at a reduced price. All Open Box items are individually inspected, tested, and graded prior to listing.

By purchasing an Open Box product, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Condition Grading

Each Open Box item is assigned a condition grade based on cosmetic appearance only. All units are verified to be fully functional unless explicitly stated otherwise.

A Grade – Excellent

  • Minimal to no visible cosmetic blemishes

  • Includes original packaging

  • Includes all original cables and accessories

  • May have been briefly handled, displayed, or tested

  • Shows virtually no signs of use

B Grade – Good

  • Light cosmetic blemishes or minor surface marks

  • May have been previously mounted or lightly used

  • Includes original packaging

  • Includes all standard cables and accessories

  • Fully tested and verified functional

C Grade – Fair

  • Noticeable cosmetic blemishes

  • May have been refurbished or repaired

  • Packaging may be non-original

  • Includes all required cables and accessories

  • Fully tested and verified functional

Cosmetic grading does not impact performance or functionality.

2. Inspection & Testing

All Open Box items:

  • Are physically inspected prior to shipment

  • Are tested for full functionality

  • Have serial numbers recorded before dispatch

  • Are packaged securely prior to shipment

Additional photos of the exact unit may be requested prior to purchase, when available.

3. Returns

All Open Box sales are final and non-returnable.

Returns will only be accepted if:

  • The item arrives damaged in transit, or

  • The item is not as described in its listed condition

If an issue is reported, it must be communicated within 48 hours of delivery.

4. Warranty

Manufacturer warranty eligibility varies by brand and product.

Some Open Box items may:

  • Retain full manufacturer warranty

  • Carry a limited manufacturer warranty

  • Not be eligible for manufacturer warranty

Customers are encouraged to contact us prior to purchase if warranty confirmation is required.

Apex Sim Racing does not provide extended warranty coverage on Open Box items unless explicitly stated.

5. Cosmetic Expectations

Open Box products are discounted due to prior handling, return, display use, or cosmetic imperfections. Minor imperfections may not always be individually photographed unless specifically requested.

By purchasing an Open Box item, you acknowledge that cosmetic condition may vary within the assigned grade.

6. Pricing & Availability

Open Box inventory is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Quantities are typically one unit per listing.

Prices reflect the assigned grade and condition at the time of listing.

7. Agreement

By completing the purchase of an Open Box product, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Open Box Policy.
