A Quick Look at the MOZA CS Pro Steering Wheel

A Quick Look at the MOZA CS Pro Steering Wheel

Introduction

MOZA’s latest addition to its round wheel lineup is the CS Pro Steering Wheel. Designed around a GT3-style hub, it features a comfortable microfiber grip, a customizable UI display, an interchangeable wheel rim, carbon-fiber construction, fully customizable buttons, six rear paddles, and broad third-party compatibility. It is a significant upgrade compared to MOZA's previous round wheels, primarily due to the inclusion of a UI display screen and more paddles.

In this blog, we’ll be diving into the CS Pro to explore the features that set it apart from other round wheels currently on the market. We were also lucky enough to get our hands on an early unit, courtesy of MOZA!

Design and Build Quality

When I first unboxed the wheel, it was packaged in standard foam-inserts and came with the user manual with stickers. Once I took the wheel out of the dust bag, the dash display immediately caught my eye and was easily the biggest standout feature. The carbon-fiber construction also gave it a solid, premium feel in my hands, and the microfiber grip is incredibly comfortable and perfect for long racing sessions.

The presentation.

The four rear paddles feel precise and smooth under my fingers, and the fully customizable buttons look well-laid-out and easy to reach. MOZA also supplied an extra pair of paddles, bringing the total to six, which adds even more versatility to the wheel’s design. The UI display immediately stands out, looking sharp and intuitive, and it’s easy to imagine how useful it would be once it’s powered on. Overall, the CS Pro feels thoughtfully designed, with premium materials and smart features that make it exciting to look at, even before using it.

Customization

The wheel originally comes with four rear paddles, and MOZA supplied an extra pair to bring the total to six, with the option to add a third pair in the future if you want more control. The 2.99-inch UI display is fully customizable and looks sleek and intuitive, giving racers the ability to monitor settings and telemetry at a glance once it’s powered on.

Button placement and variety are very impressive. There are eight short-travel, backlit buttons with 16.7 million RGB colors, two rear buttons, four rotary encoders, two thumb encoders, and two 7-way funky switches. Six side-mounted RGB flag lights add another layer of feedback and visibility. All of these controls feel thoughtfully arranged and built for precision, making it clear that MOZA designed the CS Pro for the highest level of personalization yet.

Compatibility

Like most MOZA steering options, it is compatible with all MOZA wheelbases and supports a direct PC connection through the MOZA hub kit, making setup straightforward. On top of that, the wheel is compatible with a variety of third-party wheelbases, giving sim racers the freedom to integrate it into nearly any rig.

With its thoughtfully designed layout of buttons, paddles, and encoders, the CS Pro adapts well across different software and hardware configurations. This open ecosystem approach ensures that whether you are a newcomer building your first setup or an experienced racer upgrading your rig, the wheel can grow with your needs and offer a flexible, long-term solution for sim racing.

Conclusion

With (optionally) six rear paddles, extensive button options, and the ability to add more in the future, the CS Pro offers the highest customization for a round wheel. On top of that, its broad compatibility with both MOZA and third-party wheelbases ensures it can fit into nearly any sim racing setup. For anyone looking to elevate their sim racing experience, the CS Pro is a major upgrade from any basic round sim racing steering wheel.

Set to release within the next month or two, the MOZA CS Pro Steering Wheel is now available to pre-order through Apex Sim Racing. Currently priced at $329, the CS Pro positions itself as a strong contender among other round wheels on the market.
