A Quick Look Into MOZA'S Aviation Series

Table of Contents
MOZA Racing isn't just MOZA Racing. Did you know that it's also considered MOZA Flying? Okay, well not actually, but I thought it was a funny joke. I'm not funny.
Anyways, over the summer, MOZA announced its brand new aviation series featuring the AB9 FFB Base, MH16 Flight Stick, MA3X Side Stick, AY210 Yoke Base, MFY YOKE, MTP Throttle, and MTLP Panel. Each product is meticulously crafted to tailor to both Flight Simulator enthusiasts and novice pilots alike.
Whether you're flight simulation obsessed or looking to kickstart your piloting career, MOZA's aviation series is bound to immerse you in the world of flying!
Showcasing MOZA's Flightsticks
MOZA offers two different types of flightsticks: the MH16 and the MA3X Side Stick. The difference between these two seems to lie in their designs; the MH16 is inspired by fighter aircraft sticks, while the MA3X is modeled after traditional aircraft controls. Additionally, the MH16 features more buttons and detachable components for those who desire further customization.

Along with the sticks themselves, MOZA also offers the AB9 FFB Base, which can be paired with both. According to MOZA's website, the base delivers 12NM of torque, similar to the R12 wheel base. Also, the force feedback system in the AB9 FFB Base plays a key role in delivering the ultra-realistic experience that defines MOZA’s aviation series; it replicates the physical sensations a pilot would feel when controlling a real aircraft.
Sort-of a Steering Wheel: Flight Yoke
If you're reading this blog, I would assume you're already into sim racing. So, for those who are looking to jump into Microsoft FS, a flight yoke is a great way to steer your aircraft!
Similar to that of sim racing steering wheels, MOZA offers the MFY Yoke, which is inspired by commercial aircraft. The MFY is built to last, combining a high-strength PA66 composite body with a rugged aluminum alloy quick-release system. Its ergonomic design ensures comfort and control throughout extended flight sessions. With 34 customizable inputs, dynamic RGB lighting, and versatile Hall effect joystick triggers, the MFY adapts easily to any flight setup.
Of course, when you have a steering wheel, you need a wheel base. Introducing the MOZA AY210 Yoke Base! With 9Nm of torque, 210N of push force, and 150mm of travel, it delivers amazing feedback. The dual high-performance servo motors also provides smooth and precise input. A built-in programmable switch panel, intelligent force feedback, and flexible mounting options make the AY210 ideal for Microsoft FS.
Flight Simulator Throttle
Inspired by fighter pilots, MOZA crafted the MTP Throttle to simulate real-life jet piloting. Like most of MOZA's products, the throttle is crafted with durable aluminum alloy and features 27 programmable switches, a 15-bit magnetic encoder, and a Hall-effect joystick. The throttle is also exceptionally customizable through MOZA's Cockpit software.
And Finally, The Control Panel
You can't fly an airplane without a cockpit, of course. Based on the F/A-18 landing panel from PC Flights, MOZA will soon be releasing their MTLP Panel! It features 25 switches, a parking brake lever, precision Hall sensors, programmable panel lights, and telemetry indicators. It's compatible with the aforementioned MTP Throttle, and acts as one of the most realistic control panels on the flight sim market. It pairs perfectly with games such as Microsoft FS and GeoFS.
Flight Simulation: Key Takeaways
Admittedly, I've never tried sim flight. After writing this article though, I am much more interested in the concept behind it. MOZA has been manufacturing items of great quality for years, and I would highly recommend purchasing from them if you're an avid flight sim enthusiast.
