"Great, comes preloaded with many different dash displays"

I am having issues getting

"I am having issues getting it to work via usb directly to my PC. The firmware won’t update at all the unit shuts off in the middle of the update. Support gave me beta app which allowed me to update the firmware. Now it works on my PC, but subsequent firmware results in the unit shutting off in the middle of the update. Also, my telemetry lights keep defaulting to off. When it works I like it, but hopefully they get things working consistently"

I like the product. Just

"I like the product. Just the CM2 dash will only turn on if the usb is connected to the computer. Maybe mines faulty but it wont turn on, when its just connected to the base of my R5. Only when i have both connections in."

Not without Problems…. .

"I bought this specifically so I can have a DDU without taking up a USB slot. Plugging this into my R9 base caused my base to stutter with delays, even crashing my base a couple times, causing it to reboot. These are problems I never experienced with my R9 until I connected this to it. It didn’t happen often but one time is too many when you’re in the middle of a race. Connecting it to a usb port solved the crashing base but didn’t resolve all the issues. On occasion it’ll glitch and flash ‘N’ to ‘1’. (You have to completely exit and restart the software to fix this. ) Sometimes it lags. Most importantly, your mileage will vary depending on the game. For instance, AMS2, Raceroom, RF2 won’t show onboard electronic settings in the dash. This is not Moza’s fault, it’s just dependent on how the specific game was designed and sends telemetry to your PC. Theres a chart on Moza’s site that outlines what each sim game can display one the CM2. This thing really shines with AC and AC2. It’ll show live onboard electronic settings, fuel usage, BB, etc. It’s really quite wonderful for these 2 games. Even with its issues though, I do like this thing. It’s allowed me to set up my FOV properly where I feel like I’m actually in the car. Alot of these problems can be addressed with software updates. (I hope. ) But much love to Apex Sim Racing. Whenever I order from them, anything I order usually arrives the next day. Really amazing shipping times. And the gummy bears they throw in!"
