Run Your Pedals Through the Wheelbase
The Simnet RJ12 Cable connects SP Pro pedals to a Fanatec wheelbase. So the pedals report through the base rather than taking their own USB port on the PC.
Simnet pedals connect over USB by default. However, a Fanatec setup expects pedals on the base. Therefore this cable is what bridges the two.
Why It Matters
- One less USB device on the PC
- Shorter cable run from pedals to base
- Pedals sit inside the Fanatec device tree rather than alongside it
Because the connection is direct, there is nothing to configure. In addition, no adapter or splitter sits in the middle of the signal path.
Using the Simnet RJ12 Cable
It is plug and play. Plug one end into the SP Pro pedals and the other into the Fanatec base. As a result, setup takes about as long as unpacking it.
Check your Fanatec base has an RJ12 pedal port before ordering. Not every model in the range carries one.
