Hydraulic Braking, Mounted Inverted
The Simagic P-HYSi Braking System brings hydraulic brake feel to P1000 and P1000i pedals. However, unlike the standard P-HYS, it supports inverted mounting.
Inverted pedals hang from above rather than sitting on the floor. Because that is how most real race cars are built, the pedal geometry and the way force builds both change. Therefore the brake feels closer to the car you are simulating.
Rotatable Oil Reservoir
The reservoir rotates to suit your mounting angle. So the fluid sits correctly whether the unit is upright, inverted or somewhere between.
In addition, this is the feature that separates the P-HYSi from the standard P-HYS. The P-HYS does not include a rotatable container.
38 Pressure Pads Included
Brake resistance comes from stacked pressure pads rather than a spring. Each color behaves differently:
- Red, blue, grey and black pads, 38 in total
- Stack and combine them to set your own resistance curve
- Change the feel without replacing hardware
As a result, you can run a soft progressive brake or a hard pressure-based one from the same unit.
Fitting the Simagic P-HYSi Braking System
It fits the P1000 and P1000i pedal series. CNC aluminum construction keeps it rigid under heavy braking. Meanwhile the unit measures 160 x 142 x 78 mm and weighs 0.6 kg.
