Introduction

The Simucube 3 series is the latest in the brand's wheelbase lineup. Featuring "industry-leading" force feedback technology, enhanced telemetry effects, and a focus on silent performance, the Simucube 3 Wheelbases are bound to deliver the most realistic-performing control during sim racing. The three torque options include 15 Nm for the Simucube 3 Sport, 25 Nm for the Simucube 3 Pro, and 35 Nm for the Simucube 3 Ultimate.

These new wheelbases are currently available for preorder, shipping between December and January. Two of which will also be available to purchase with Apex Sim Racing, as we currently list the Simucube 3 Sport and Pro Bases on our website

Simucube 3 Sport

The Simucube 3 Sport is considered the "entry-level" model within this new lineup. It delivers 15 Nm of torque, providing an intermediate realistic force feedback experience; the Sport model is ideal for sim racers who want to step into the world of direct drive wheelbases with something simultaneously powerful and manageable. This model features Simucube’s latest advancements in motor control and signal processing, resulting in smooth and accurate feedback without tons of noise.

Of course, it also supports the Simucube Quick Release system, allowing fast steering wheel swaps for different types of racing. The compact form factor makes this base easy to mount on most aluminum profile rigs, and the Simucube Tuner 3.0 software gives drivers full control over tuning and customization.

Simucube 3 Pro

The Simucube 3 Pro increases torque output to 25 Nm, which creates a more dynamic range of force and response. It allows drivers to feel greater detail in steering inputs and track surfaces and helps build consistency during longer racing sessions. With refined torque response and improved active damping, the Pro model offers higher stability during aggressive and fast driving. Simucube Tuner 3.0 also provides advanced tuning options that let users tailor the wheelbase to their driving style, car choice, and simulator preferences.

The main differences between the Simucube 3 Pro and Simucube 3 Sport are their sizes, torque outputs, and weight. The Simucube 3 Sport is a great choice for racers who want a lighter and more affordable wheelbase, while the Pro model is better suited for those looking for a higher level of realism and performance. However, there is still one more model left to cover: the Simucube 3 Ultimate, which I will discuss below.

Simucube 3 Ultimate

The Simucube 3 Ultimate is the highest-torque model in this new lineup, reaching up to 35 Nm! It is designed for competitive sim racers and professional training environments where accuracy and response are the most critical. The Ultimate model's advanced motor design allows extremely fast and detailed feedback with near-silent operation. Steering inputs are also reflected, providing an the most realistic sense of connection to the virtual car and track.

Utilizing Simucube Tuner 3.0, sim racers can create highly-specific profiles for each simulator or vehicle type. The software provides full control over damping, friction, inertia, and force reconstruction, allowing sim racers to fine-tune the wheelbase in order to match their preferences. Like the aforementioned wheelbases, these profiles can be saved, shared, and adjusted, allowing easy switches between different cars or games without losing consistency.

Conclusion

The Simucube 3 lineup delivers powerful and precise force feedback for every level of sim racer. Each model offers smooth performance, deep customization through Simucube Tuner 3.0, and a refined driving feel.

Preorders are now open through Apex Sim Racing, with shipments expected between December and January!
